THE STORY OF MAHALIA – ARTIST ON THE RISE

I remember the feeling I got when I first heard Sober and it never left me with every other song from Mahalia. Her music is so honest that everyone can relate, everyone can find a piece of a story that happened to them as well. It was so surprising to me to find out, at her concert, that she was only 21. She got so much wisdom for her and, so much to share.
This new series of videos reveal Mahalia’s roots, childhood all the way to the sold-out shows. Amazing and so inspiring to watch.

MASTER CLASS WITH JACOB COLLIER

I’m going to be honest with you I don’t understand 80% of what he is saying, but I’m willing to spend any amount of time watching him and maybe I get something and use it. This young genius is to be enjoyed and studied at the same time and I think there are only benefits in doing so.

MAURITANIA RAILWAY

As usual, I would love to add something from my many interests and this one combines several. Art, nature, video and humans.

One of the longest and heaviest trains in the world, the 1.8-mile beast runs from the mining center of Zouerat to the port city of Nouadhibou on Africa’s Atlantic coast. The train is the bedrock of the Mauritanian economy and a lifeline to the outside world for the people who live along its route.
Hop on board the ‘Backbone of the Sahara’ with filmmaker Macgregor for an incredible journey through the stunning Western Saharan landscape.

VISUAL OF THE MONTH

Sunrise is the new video from two amazing dancers, Khoudia from Senegal and Mufasa from France. Both are very special in their dance expressions, powerful, feminine, emotional, pure. It’s a joy to watch these ladies move.

No, spring doesn’t know and neither does the dawn. This is the big lesson I learned every day, that the ghetto whisper to me, that my mother’s eyes tell me clearly, that my mother’s / teach me and even at a distance! and it’s that same lesson that hides in the boom boom of a big good hip hop beat, that same lesson hidden in each of our moves even though they may seem raw and intense (as we like)
Joy is a weapon, even when our environment pushes us to bundled… I share this video from a time when spring didn’t know, in Senegal as in Paris

Mufasa

” To my friend L ‘ Aurore…”
In these times of storm, I stay hanging on the memories of precious moments. Sunrise, sunshine, sunrayons.
Sunrise, sunrise, with the beautiful soul Sandrine Mufasa Lescourant, during spring times that don’t completely fade away. Obstacles turned into hope and good fortune. Message of courage…and after the rain, good weather.

INSPIRING AND MOTIVATING

If you are following me, you might know Simon Sinek already. I like to post every once in a while his talks. They are just great, on point, insightful and I always get a healthy dose of inspiration. I’m mostly trying to transform it to our community, or any community, and see how it can benefit us. You might find it interesting too.

MAIKL KNIGHT SET THE IRON

in these times, everybody moved to the clouds and honestly, most of it is not worthy of mentioning. You know the setting, corner of the room, plants and some significant objects like a logo or colorful fabric. But this one, this one is special, with a promise to see more amazing locations accompanied by amazing music. Our own Maikl Knight is SETing the mood here:
